Extractions

Taking away troublesome teeth.

Sometimes it may be necessary to extract a tooth if it is damaged beyond repair or it is an impacted wisdom tooth. The extraction will be carried out under a local anaesthetic and you may also be able to have sedation if you are very worried.

If you are concerned about the condition of a tooth, get in touch with your dentist and never attempt to remove your own tooth. Dentists use special equipment and perform extractions in a clinical setting for the most successful and safest results.

If you experience any discomfort following an extraction, this can be relieved with over-the-counter painkillers.
