Emergency care

For swift attention.

If you chip or break a tooth, you should see your dentist as soon as possible. This is even more important if your tooth has been knocked out, as the more swiftly you see a dentist, the more likely it can be put back in position.

A knocked out tooth should be handled carefully by the crown (the part usually visible in the mouth) and then gently rinsed. The tooth should be put back in its socket or, if this is not possible, stored in a container of milk or slightly salty water.

It may be possible to have a chipped tooth filed down or repaired with a tooth-coloured filling, and a crown can be used to restore a back molar. We offer a same day service for all types of dental emergencies caused by trauma, as well as toothache and abscesses. We can treat your injuries, helping them heal quickly and preventing future dental problems.
